How do I book a repair?
Choose Start a repair, select your device and the problem, then choose an available service and location. Complete your contact details, review the estimate and terms, and finish booking. Keep the confirmation details for your visit.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome at an open Repairology location. Booking ahead helps you share the device and issue before arriving. Contact the store to confirm parts and availability, especially for a specific model.
How long will my repair take?
Many common screen and battery repairs may be completed the same day. Timing depends on the diagnosis, parts, workload and device. Board repairs, data recovery and special-order parts can take longer. Your technician will confirm the expected turnaround.
Which locations can I book?
The location finder lists Repairology stores by distance, including temporarily closed stores. Only available stores can be booked. Check the location’s current status, hours and contact details before travelling.
How do I change or cancel an appointment?
Contact the location shown in your confirmation and provide your name and appointment details. The store can confirm the available options. Do not make a second booking just to change the first one.
Can you help without an in-store visit?
Check the booking tool for the service methods offered for your device and location. Mobile, pickup or other services may carry additional fees and may not be available for every repair. Review the selected method and estimate before confirming.
How much will my repair cost?
Choose your exact device and repair in the booking tool to view the current listed estimate. The amount can vary by model, repair, display tier and service method. Where a price is not listed, you will see “Pricing available upon request”. Your store confirms the final price after inspection.
Is the online estimate a guaranteed final price?
No. Prices are subject to physical inspection at the location. Additional damage or a different repair may change the estimate. Ask your technician to explain the diagnosis, options and total before approving work.
How do Select, Signature and Genuine screens compare?
Select is the budget-focused option. Signature aims for a feel closer to the original display at a lower cost than the Genuine tier. Genuine is the highest tier in the booking catalog. Exact panel technology, available features and price vary by model; review the options shown for your device and ask the store which part is being quoted.
Will every replacement display feel the same?
No. Display brightness, color, touch response, fit and supported features can differ between replacement parts. Ask which panel is offered for your exact model, how it compares with the original, and what warranty applies. A tier name alone does not guarantee every original feature.
Why does my iPhone show an “Unknown Part” message?
Apple may show this when a display is nongenuine, not working as expected, modified, or not verified and linked after repair. The message itself does not prevent use of the iPhone, but it does not prove the part is fault-free either. Contact the store if touch, brightness or other features behave differently.
Where do I enter a promo code?
In the booking summary, select “Have a promo code?” and enter the code. A valid offer should appear in your pricing details. Eligibility, dates and combination rules depend on the offer. If it is rejected, check the spelling and conditions or contact the store.
Is there a diagnostic charge?
Diagnostic charges and promotions depend on the selected service. Check the booking estimate or ask your store what applies, including whether a diagnostic charge is credited toward an approved repair. Do not assume a diagnostic is free unless a valid offer or the store confirms it.
What should I do before bringing my device in?
Back up accessible data if you can. Bring the device, your booking or ticket details, and accessories that relate to the fault, such as a problematic charger. Tell the technician about previous repairs, liquid exposure and symptoms. Ask the store about any device-specific preparation.
Do I have to enter an IMEI when booking?
No. The IMEI lookup is optional. If damage prevents you from accessing it, choose your model manually and continue. If a lookup identifies a different model, review the updated device and repair options before booking.
What if I cannot find my device model?
Do not choose a different model just to get a price. Contact the store with your manufacturer, exact model and issue so the team can check service and parts availability.
Will my data be kept during the repair?
Discuss data preservation with your technician before approving work. Back up anything accessible beforehand. Some diagnoses or software repairs may involve a reset, and a damaged device can make data recovery uncertain. Tell the team if preserving your data is the priority.
Will you need my device passcode?
Some checks may require access to device functions. Ask the technician what access is needed and whether there is a device-supported repair or maintenance mode. Do not send passcodes, account passwords or verification codes through the AI assistant or public contact forms.
How can I check my repair status?
Open My account and choose the guest repair-status option. Enter the ticket ID and last name associated with the repair. You can also sign in to your customer account to view linked repair information.
Do I need an account to track a repair?
No. The guest checker uses your ticket ID and last name. An account is useful for viewing linked repair and purchase history in one place. Keep ticket information private.
Why can’t I find my ticket?
Check the ticket ID and last-name spelling against your receipt or store messages. If the ticket still does not appear, contact the location that accepted the repair. Avoid repeatedly creating new accounts; the team may need to check the customer record or ticket link.
My sign-in code has not arrived. What should I do?
Check the email address, spam or junk folder, and recent messages. Use the most recent code and wait for the resend option before requesting another. Never share a verification code with anyone. If delivery continues to fail, contact our team.
Where can I see my receipt or outstanding balance?
Check the purchase or ticket details in your customer portal when those records are available. If a receipt, payment or balance looks incomplete, ask the store to confirm it. The AI assistant cannot access or verify private payment records.
When can I collect my device?
Wait for the store to confirm that the repair is ready for pickup. Contact the location if the status is unclear, and check opening hours before travelling. Ask the team what identification, ticket details or payment is needed.
What does my repair warranty cover?
Warranty terms depend on the repair and component selected. Check the terms on your receipt and ask the store about eligibility and exclusions. A repair warranty is different from accidental-damage protection. Do not assume new drops or liquid damage are covered.
Can I see how much warranty time I have left?
Your customer portal shows warranty information when it is available for the repair record. If it is missing or unclear, contact the store with your ticket ID. Missing portal information does not itself mean your coverage has expired.
What if I notice a problem after a repair?
Contact the location that performed the work and explain the symptoms, when they started, and whether anything happened to the device afterward. Have your ticket or receipt ready. The team will explain inspection and warranty next steps.
Can I buy or manage a protection plan online?
Online RepairCare and protection-plan entry points are currently unavailable. Contact the team for help with existing coverage and to confirm current options. The help center cannot activate a plan or approve a claim.
Which devices do you repair?
Repairology offers repair services for smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles, with additional categories shown in the booking tool. Availability depends on the exact model, problem and parts. Use the approved catalog or contact the team to check your device.
My iPhone says liquid is detected. What should I do?
Disconnect the charging cable and let the device and cable dry in a ventilated area before reconnecting. Apple advises against rice, heat, compressed air or putting objects into the connector. If the alert persists, arrange an assessment. See Apple’s guidance for your next steps.
Can you recover photos from a phone that won’t turn on?
The team can assess the device for recovery options. Success depends on the damage and the condition of its storage; recovery is not guaranteed. Tell the technician that your photos or files are the priority before approving repairs or software work.
Can you help with console HDMI or power problems?
Yes, the team can assess supported game consoles with HDMI, power and other issues. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so an inspection is needed before confirming the repair. Choose your exact console in the booking tool.
Do you offer computer and software support?
Repairology offers computer repair and software-support services. Describe the symptoms, device model and any important files when you contact the team. Service availability and the work required are confirmed after assessment.
How does business repair pricing work?
Register your company in the business portal and submit its details for review. Approval is required before business pricing is activated. Your company receives an individually assigned rate based on the reviewed account; submitting a form does not automatically approve a discount.
What information do I need for a business application?
Have your legal business name, EIN, address, estimated employee count, expected repair volume, device types and primary contact details ready. Submit sensitive business information only in the secure business portal, not in an AI chat.
Can business pricing be combined with a promo code?
Business pricing and promotional codes cannot be combined in the booking flow. Your approved business discount applies to eligible primary repair estimates; service fees, accessories, taxes and additional quoted work are excluded. Review your portal for your assigned rate.
Let’s try another way.
Try a shorter phrase, browse all topics, or ask Repairology AI.
