Before you begin
- This procedure is for the LCD model. OLED models have a different guide.
- Back up files and prepare recovery media before opening the device. Use a compatible single-sided M.2 2230 SSD.
- Reduce battery charge below 25%, use battery storage mode, shut down and remove the microSD card.
Stop if you find a damaged battery, liquid damage or a part that does not match the guide. Don’t force a connector or improvise a tool.
